Andrew Tonkovich is a graduate of the MFA Creative Writing Program at UC Irvine and a former Santa Monica College workshop student of writer Jim Krusoe. His short stories, essays, reviews and commentaries have appeared widely. He teaches Composition at UC Irvine, where he is the president of the union representing Lecturers and Librarians. Tonkovich is a staff participant at the annual summer Community of Writers at Squaw Valley and hosts Bibliocracy Radio, a podcast and weekly literary arts program on Pacifica's KPFK 90.7 FM. bibliocracyradio.com.
