Traffic Halts Me
Tera Greene

It’s 5 oh two and you are in the store fronting the dollar bill, you are late
You say to the man, hurruh hurry up! Fuckin’ master can’t you equate
I ain’t got the time to waste. No hasty farce I’m on the go.
GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO…

I despise roads.

With traffic. All I know is I can’t have it. Take my shoes and take my heart, toss them up and away in toward untoward behavior.
My country ‘tis of thee, who’s our savior?
Savor the mind of not one like your own.
Learn to move faster, slipping zestily you’re into your own zone…

“Move on”
A grave decision, should be the vision a time to be thinking of the next step to transform
The storm brews a Midas hue, blaring it’s blaze to entrance you.
Follow the leader the storm and the cake
Eat it two.
Eat for the people, the purple fools’ fuels.
Green in loyalty they know not what they do.
Blue in humidity, then they blast away the scars they raped from their rear views
to impassion you.
Do be doo beeee doo.
If you stay glued, you’ll miss the next train. The brain is a membrane that forgets to turn
the page, so just. Let. It. All. Go…
