Thanks to the SMC Associated Students, the very popular “Any Line, Any Time” program continues for the coming year. When all your fees are paid, your student ID card can be “activated” at the Bursar’s Office or the Admissions Office which allows you to ride “Any Line, Any Time” for free on the Big Blue Bus.
Starting with the first day of the Fall 2011 semester, Big Blue Bus is offering expanded service, with new bigger Rapid 7 buses on Pico Boulevard, and service extended to Metro’s Purple Line subway station at Wilshire and Western.
Big Blue Bus now requires that you “swipe” your student ID card in order to board. You are responsible to activate your card.
• If you’re new this semester – your card should be ready to use.
• If you’re returning and have a card that has a magnetic stripe – activate your card at any of the following stations:
• Main Campus
–
Bursar’s Office during normal hours
Admissions Office during normal hours
• Academy of Entertainment & Technology Campus
–
Lobby, first two weeks of the semester, 8am to 5pm
• Bundy Campus
–
Staff Office in Lobby, first two weeks of the semester, 8am to 5pm
• Performing Arts Center
–
Outdoor Plaza area, first two weeks of the semester, 8am to 5pm
• If you’re returning and your card does not have a magnetic stripe – you’ll need a new ID card, available at the Bursar’s office on the main campus. When you get a new ID card, it should be swiped and ready to use.
Get your swiped card now and start riding the Big Blue Bus for free thanks to SMC and the Associated Students!
