Andrew Tonkovich is a graduate of the MFA Creative Writing Program at UC Irvine and a former Santa Monica College student of writer Jim Krusoe. His short stories, essays and commentaries have appeared widely. He teaches Composition at UC Irvine, where he is the president of the union representing Lecturers and Librarians. As "The Bibliofella," he blogs on books at the OC Weekly. Tonkovich is a staff participant at the annual summer Community of Writers at Squaw Valley and hosts a weekly Wednesday night literary arts program on Pacifica Radio KPFK 90.7 FM in Southern California.
