SMC RECEIVES $865,000 IN GRANTS FOR
TRANSPORTATION & LOGISTICS TRAINING

Santa Monica College Vice President of Student Affairs Dr. Robert “Bobby” Adams, who has served as counselor and administrator at the college for 33 years, has been selected to be President of Merritt College in Oakland.

“Somewhere in L.A.,” a book of photos taken by 10 Santa Monica College students as part of a unique project with the J. Paul Getty Museum, will be unveiled at an artists' reception from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 28. PLAQUE DEDICATED TO HONOR MEMORY OF AVIATION MURALIST
A plaque dedication ceremony honoring the artistry and life of the late Andy Blinn – who, despite a lifelong battle with cystic fibrosis, at the age of 16 completed a unique mural in what was then an aviation museum – was held today (Jan. 31) at Santa Monica College’s Airport Campus.
