SMC Gets Paid for Reducing Carbon Footprint
SMC received two energy reduction incentive rebate checks from local utilities totaling $217,000-plus for retrofitting the control system for the 54 fume hoods in the Science Building that officials estimate will save the college approximately $1.5 million over the next 10 years.
